The Function of Checking Cables:
- This "CABLE TESTER" will help you to check and find the twin cables in need among so many cables in no time
- Plug one port of the cable testing(such as the port of extension line or the port of computer network cable) into the RJ-45 jack or RJ11 jack on the emitter (or via the adapter cable),and move the switch on the emitter to the "SCAN" position. It shows a normal work if the "status" LED flashes.
- Push to test on the receiver and the "Power" LED flashes, then detect the sound "toot" from the speaker on the receiver around another port of the cable testing(such as cable layout shelf of telephone system, junction box, and hub port of computer)
- Then compare the volume of the "toot" sound, the twin cables which makes the highest sound of "toot" are the one to be found.

The Function of Verifying Cables:
With the verifying function of the "CABLE CHECKER", it will be very fast to test the basic physical connecting feature of open and short and cable Sequence Status on The Cables Below:
- The UTP computer network cable which adopts the standard of 10 Base-t EIA/TIA 568A, EIA/TIA 568B, AT&T258A, Token Ring
- The telephone cable of 2 pin/4 pin
- Other metal connecting cable
- Plug one port of the cable testing into the RJ45 jack on the emitter(or connect them with cable adapter). Move the function switch on the emitter to the "TEST" position, it shows a normal work when the "VERIFY" LED flashes.
- Connect another port of the cable testing with the RJ45 jack on the receiver(or connect them with cable adapter). The status of good and NG of the cable circuit can be judged by the 4 indicator light on the emitter or on the receiver of cable status(as the illustrator in the table: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Low Voltage Alarm Function:
Push DIP switch on emitter to position of "SCAN", in case that battery level is lower than 6.0V, "STATUS" and "VERIFY" indicators will light up at the same time, it means battery replacement is needed.
