6 Good Gadgets for Cowboys

6 Good Gadgets for Cowboys

Here’s out gadget tribute to cowboys. Was looking through the website yesterday, and I was thinking about who would use all this stuff. And I decided to make a few lists of recommended gadgets. So, the first list? It’s dedicated to cowboys.

Here’s 6 handy gadgets dedicated to cowboys.

Cowboys talking about gadgets

Gadget #1

The monster solarpack.

This was the first gadget I thought would be perfect for a cowboy – you could be out on the trail, charging your MP4 player and mobile phone while on your way back to the ranch.

Comes with a bunch of connectors to make sure you can change any gadget around the ranch.

I must say I took one to the beach a few months ago, and I was really impressed by being able to charge all my gadgets with it. It’s got enough plugs and adapters to basically charge anything you could ever want to charge.

Gadget #2

High Definition Video Camera captures in H.264

Hi-definition digital camera

Alright, so much happens around the homestead, and you’d like to capture it all on tape, or hard disk. Well, here’s a great option – it’s a high definition camera that captures footage in H.264 format. You might not know what that format is, but anyways what it means is that you can take a lot of footage, and it doesn’t take up so much space on a disk – in high resolution. We have a whole line of digital video cameras right here. So in the future, you can make sure you never miss a moment like this:

Gadget #3

Boombox ghetto blaster with a 12.1-inch DVD player

Sonny Mead - a rocking cowboy

You might not be able to rock the sweet bluegrass like Sonny Mead here, but if you love music then you’re sure to have a collection of Hank Williams. And if you do, then you need to play it somehow — and well, here’s a great system to enjoy Hank on. (By the way, you don’t have any Garth Brooks, do you?)

It’s a boombox ghetto blaster with a 12.1-inch DVD player built in, so besides listening to Hank’s songs, you can even watch your favorite films. Heck, it even has a built-in TV and radio, so you’ll even have something to do in town. AND, if you power it up with that solar charger up above, then those lonely nights that Hank loves to sing about hopefully won’t be so lonely anymore.

Gadget #4

Night Scope Binoculars

Critters in the dark? Night hunting? Easy, with a set of these night scope binoculars.

Gadget #5

Handheld Portable Projector

This little projector is the real deal – basically you can hook up any portable MP4 player (including the kind made by that company named after a piece of fruit) and project a film onto any wall (or cliff if you’re out camping). Visual quality is pretty incredible for such a small projector. It has a built-in speaker, and actually supports memory cards so you could watch films without attaching any other players to it at all. Here’s the link to the product page.

The band - rocking some sweet western music

The guy on the far left has a really sweet amp hooked up to his slide guitar.

Gadget # 6

Car Charger with USB port

Last gadget is dedicated to the band above, because in the country you need a vehicle to drive, probably a pick-up truck. And in any case, if you really love gadgets and you spend that much time on the road (I grew up the country myself, so I know you can spend a lot of time on the road) then you need a car charger, even more than one. So that’s where this car charger comes in — splits your car’s cigarette lighter into a three-plug charger. And it even has a USB port, so you can charge all your USB plug gadgets. Alright, that’s the gadget list for the day. Let us know if you thought these were the best gadgets to recommend to cowboys, or if there are anymore you’d like to add to the list.

By the way, all the vintage cowboy photos came from the Commons on Flickr. Do check it out when you have a moment, there’s some incredible photography on there worth checking out.
